Cosmina

Cosmina became a part of our family in February 2010. In December 2009, Cosmina and her brother Neemia were forced to face the trial of their lives when their mother died due to medical complications after multiple miscarriages. Left orphaned and having to cope with the irresponsible character of their father, who used to have numerous relationships and leave home for days, the siblings were trying to take each day at the time with courage and hope. Still, they felt the overpowering solitude and abandonment at every step.

The local pastor decided to call Hand of Help as the situation was only getting worse. Our God had such a wonderful plan for Cosmina and Neemia. It was very soon following the project "A Place at Your Table" (an occasion for families from the community to have orphan children at their house during the winter holidays) that one family asked us to grant permission for Neemia to spend the weekends with them. It wasn't long after that Neemia became a part of that family!

Cosmina continued to be a part of our orphanage, keeping in touch with her brother. After graduating from trade school with a diploma in tailoring and clothing design, and an additional two years of school, Cosmina decided to seek employment in the nearby city of Suceava.

We offered Cosmina the help and assistance she needed to take her first steps as an adult, and we continue to counsel her whenever she seeks our advice. We pray God will guide her in every step as she starts this new stage of life. Thank you for all your love and support for Cosmina through her years with us. May our Lord amply reward you!
