Iulian, and his brother Ioan (Ionut), were a part of the Hand of Help family beginning in May 2011. Both of them were traumatized by the numerous beatings at the hands of their parents, including continuous trauma to the head. They were kept hungry and thirsty and lacked a minimal hygiene routine for days on end. Due to the parents' aggressiveness, even the neighbors could not attempt to save the brothers from that environment. After the local authorities were bombarded with letters and notifications from the school regarding their frequent abuse, they decided to step in and ask for Hand of Help's assistance.
We are so grateful that with our Lord's help, their lives have been dramatically changed.
Iulian graduated from a technical college specializing in auto mechanics. After he turned 18 and finished his studies, he decided to follow his brother, Ionut, move to the U.K., and start an independent life. They are now working together at the same construction company and oftentimes spend time with the other young men from Hand of Help that are currently residing and working in the U.K.
Both Iulian and Ionut keep in touch with the children and adolescents from our center and visit them when they come back home.
Thank you for continuing to pray for Iulian and the rest of our young men. May they be a light among others and always seek God's will for their lives!
